DOJ To Review Whether It Funded ACORN

We’ve all heard how the DOJ is going to investigate – did we give ACORN money? Maybe they should just google it or ask the Washington Examiner who reported in February 2009.

ACORN gets approximately 40 percent of its revenue from taxpayers, including a $138,000 grant from the Department of Justice in 2005. The Department of Housing and Urban Development gave $8.2 million to ACORN and another $1.6 million to ACORN affiliates.

A drop in the bucket in the big picture. Unfortunately, the DOJ will spend a million dollars ‘investigating’ to find this.
