Obama Soldiers Fan The Flame Of Racial Profiling

While Obama is having his beer bash, ACORN is drafting their email to take advantage of this latest ‘man-made crisis’. I’m sure Rahm is proud or helped them draft this.

Warrantless midnight raids. Racial profiling. Forced family separation. Retaliatory arrests. Chain gangs.

Relics of a bygone era? No. This is reality today where I live, and these are the routine actions of Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona — the same sheriff whose actions have been compared to the worst excesses of Alabama Sheriff Bull Connor and his fight against the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s.

Today, the excuse for abusing civil rights is the enforcement of federal immigration law, and the Latino community is the target. Sheriff Arpaio and others get away with it thanks to a Bush-era program called “287(g)” — a program that basically gives Sheriff Arpaio all the power and freedom he wants to enforce immigration as he sees fit. Program 287(g) is not only still being implemented, but Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is planning to expand the program!

Tell Secretary Napolitano that we don’t need more local law enforcement taking immigration into their own hands. Program 287(g) should be abolished, not expanded.

Just last week, the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law called Arpaio-style, pre-dawn immigration raids on family homes “unconstitutional.” They said that the “cowboy mentality” permeating our approach to America’s immigration challenge has been doing serious damage.

In fact, many law enforcement agencies don’t support the 287(g) program and won’t even participate, saying it harms their ability to ensure public safety by putting officers in situations in which they often make choices that violate our rights — and our humanity — if we happen to look like we might “not be from around here.”

Click here to tell Secretary Napolitano to stop the expansion of the 287(g) program, and then to abolish the program altogether.

The impact that the 287(g) program has is life-or-death serious for many communities. When we know that the color of our skin makes us criminally suspect in the eyes of local law enforcement, then where do we go if we are in danger? How can we call the police to stop domestic abuse, if we know that the police may be just as abusive? When racial profiling is part of law enforcement, then people of color have no one to protect them.

Program 287(g) must end soon — and we can’t sit by while the Department of Homeland Security expands it. Tell Secretary Napolitano that expanding 287(g) is the wrong choice, and 287(g) will never be a part of a successful approach to America’s immigration challenge.

The good news is that as a result of the kinds of energy that ACORN and others have been able to generate on this issue, over 30 organizations across the country are taking action over the coming weeks to hold DHS accountable on immigration policy. Please join in this nationwide campaign to end 287g and bring sanity to America’s immigration policies.
In solidarity and strength,
Alicia Russell
Arizona ACORN

ACORN is taking this ‘man-made issue’ nationwide as in Arizona Sheriff Arpaio is winning this argument. According to Rasmussem Reports:

Voters in the Grand Canyon State still highly regard Maricopa Country Sheriff Joseph Arpaio, known for his tough immigration enforcement. Fifty-seven percent (57%) say the sheriff’s policies have helped the state’s image, showing little change from May. Twenty-seven percent (27%) say the sheriff’s policies hurt the state’s image.

The people that live in this community don’t agree with ACORN, not that it matters to ACORN. The fact is that Sheriff Arpaio is doing the unthinkable – he’s enforcing the law. What a concept.

Obama Pays Off The Cops. The Chicago Way.

There Are No Accidents In This Administration.

Obama screws up and we pay for it. Now I am not against more funding for our Police Officers, however as a payoff? Wow, you can’t get any more ‘Chicago’ than this.

According to Politico44:

Six days after POTUS’s comment that precipitated a clash with Massachusetts police organizations, Vice President Biden and Attorney General Holder are headed to Philadelphia Tuesday to make a “major Recovery Act announcement” regarding funding for “law enforcement agencies across the nation,” the White House announced Monday.

Now THAT’S what I call an abuse of power.

Gates – Whitey Now Sits In Judgment Of Me

It just keeps getting worse with this race baiter.

According to

To his eventual embarrassment, he wrote in his Yale application:

“As always, whitey now sits in judgment of me, preparing to cast my fate. It is your decision either to let me blow with the wind as a nonentity or to encourage the development of self. Allow me to prove myself.”

The more research that is done on this man, the more it is clear who started this incident.

In my opinion, the charges should not have been dropped against Mr. Gates. This in and of itself shows that if you have money and connections, you do not have to follow the law. Isn’t this what Mr. Gates and his buddies fight against?

I’m sure you’ve heard the audio by now, but just in case.

It Was Racial Profiling – Nevermind – It Was Abuse Of Power

If the story doesn’t work – change the story. It wasn’t racial profiling – it was abuse of power. This is the newest story line from Mr. Gates and Al Sharpton. How many ways do Henry Louis Gates and Al Sharpton intend to try and smear the good name of Sargeant Crowley?

Their other argument – the charges have been dropped so they must have been wrong. What’s not reported (except by Ann Coulter of course) is that Mr. Gates’ attorney called the Mayor to complain about the charges and the Mayor used his influence to get the charges dropped. No one really expected the charges not to be dropped. Funny if you were listening to the news cycles and interviews the first couple of days, no one mentioned it. It was only after the racism charges were being ripped apart did the “charges were dropped” argument start rising to the top of the scum.

Who do you think has more credibility when it comes to racial issues.

Sargeant Crowley

Highly respected. Teaches against racial profiling.

Al Sharpton

Race baiting. Racist. Tax Cheat. Did he ever apologize to the Duke LaCrosse team?

Henry Gates

“Because of racism, I never would have been allowed to compete on a more or less level terrain with white boys and white girls.”

Without ‘affirmative action’ Mr. Gates would not be where he’s at today. That’s right all you black children out there – without the governments help you cannot succeed. What kind of message does this send to the children of his race? You are not equal, you are not good enough, you are not smart enough, you will never be accepted by the white people – unless the government makes them.

Those parents out there that allow your children and young adults to be taught by this man (and other racists like Mr. Gates) are the cause of the continuance of racism. You are allowing the Henry Gates, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Cornell West and Carl Dix’s of the world to form your childrens opinions on race – are you nuts! These men are not friends of the black race, if racism were to suddenly be gone these men would be out of business and seeking a bail-out from Obama. These are millionaires in the BUSINESS of racism.

I find it interesting that Mr. Gates like Obama speaks in very different tones depending on who he is speaking to. After listening to the video above I was left with the feeling that Mr. Gates was yet another black racist that blames the white race for all the ills of the black race. However, when you take a look at his interview with the Martha Vineyard Magazine he has a very different tone.

I’m just a poor boy from Piedmont, West Virginia. I’m from a village – a small town of two thousand people where everybody spoke to everybody. That’s what I like about Martha’s Vineyard. And I also like the class diversity and the racial diversity.

How would you describe race relations on Martha’s Vineyard? Do you think there is a divide?

Not at all. In fact, there are a few things that are special about race relations on Martha’s Vineyard. First of all, the Island must have the highest concentration in the world of successful, middle- and upper-class black people. If you’re a successful black person, chances are you’ve raised your children in predominantly white neighborhoods, and they’ve attended predominantly white schools. Martha’s Vineyard allows the black upper-middle class to get to know each other, and it allows our children to socialize every day with other black children – and white children – of their same educational and economic backgrounds. This is particularly valuable for mixed-race children: They don’t feel abnormal for being smart and the children of successful people. This performs a very important function within the African American community.

As I come away from reading his interview, I’m left with the feeling that Mr. Gates believes that midde-upper class people are not racists. It’s just those damn lower class white Americans. Now I’m sure Mr. Gates meant say to middle-upper ‘income’ people, right? And the message for the ‘mixed’ children from Mr. Gates, don’t feel abnormal because you’re smart and have successful parents, huh? Is Mr. Gates implying that children with two black parents are not smart? only mixed children? or does he mean that black children that are not middle-upper class are not smart?

Interesting article at Riehl World View lays out the questionable charity ran by Henry Louis Gates, Jr. The Inkwell Foundation, which Mr. Gates mentions often and was even wearing the t-shirt when he’s being interviewed this week (I’m sure he wasn’t overtly trying to take advantage of his 15 minutes of fame).

Henry Louis Gates, Jr controls a tax-exempt, non-profit charity, Inkwell Foundation, Inc, that managed to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars in direct support in one year, yet only gave out $27,500 in grants, the bulk of which went to Gates’ employees and Harvard colleagues.

According to the Boston Globe in September 2008, the Inkwell Foundation is essentially a bogus charity.

So, Obama is proud that he’s ‘started conversations’. I’m not sure he’s going to like the conversations that have began.

Police Didn’t Endorse Obama – So They Don’t Matter – Obama Spoke To Sargeant Crowley

This is the mindset of this administration. You didn’t support us – screw you.

Via Politico (emphasis mine):

Earlier in the day, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs dismissed a suggestion that the backlash from police groups could be distressing to the White House, given that Obama has enjoyed a positive relationship with the law enforcement community.

“I think the Fraternal Order of Police endorsed McCain,” Gibbs fired back, referring to Obama’s Republican opponent in the 2008 election. “If I’m not mistaken.”

When a reporter pointed out that Obama had won the support of the Policemen’s Benevolent Association, Gibbs conceded: “We got some.”

Obama is speaking now……………..

Obama spoke with Sargeant Crowley. Per Obama;

  • “I helped to contribute to this ratcheting up”
  • “I could have calibrated this differently”
  • He continues to believe that there was an over reaction on both sides
  • Unbelievable – he taking credit for contributing to ‘constructively’ adding to the conversation
  • A consequence of this event – “a teachable moment”
  • Nope, still no apology.

Once again, Sargeant Crowley has outclassed the President.

Obama Was Out Of Line With His Comments On Cambridge Police Department – UPDATED

My mouth fell open when I heard his comments. This was so totally irresponsible.

The incident report has been available online since July 20th and if Obama had not had time to review this information, he should not have commented. Period.

Just in case you haven’t seen it.

Based on the facts – Mr. Gates was the only person that acted with racism in mind – not the Cambridge Police Department or Officers.

What kind of message did Obama send last night?

  • If you don’t like how things are turning out – cry racism
  • If you don’t want to be responsible for your own actions – cry racism
  • Your actions don’t matter – your color does
  • We are a racist country (sound familiar?)

Obama stated that blacks and latinos are stopped disproportionately, it’s just a fact. The one thing that is always left out of these facts is that crime is committed in the US by blacks and latinos disproportionately, it’s just a fact. Until this fact is reversed in these ethnic communites, the fact is that more people in these ethnic communities will be questioned by the police – it’s just a fact.

Obama you cannot have it both ways. At your NAACP sermon you stated that we need to start a new mindset.  Is this really how you think we can start this new mindset of “no excuses”? No it is not, you continue to “write the destiny” of the black youth in this Country every time you minimize personal responsibility. In this case, Mr. Gates acted irresponsibly and should be accountable for his actions.

President Obama owes an apology to the Cambridge Police Department and Officers involved in this incident.

Obama, you acted stupidly.

If you feel the officers acted appropriately – please let them know.

Maybe Obama should have waited until he had all the information before he decided to smear what appears to be a fine policeman doing his job. Can you imagine the hell this man is going through after being called out by the President of the United States on national tv???

According to the Associated Press:

Friends and fellow officers — black and white — say Sgt. James Crowley is a principled cop and family man who is being unfairly described as racist.

The white police sergeant accused of racial profiling after he arrested renowned black scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. in his home was hand-picked by a black police commissioner to teach recruits about avoiding racial profiling.

Not to mention the fact that Officer Crowley has much more class than either Obama or Gates.

“I support the president of the United States 110 percent,” he told WBZ-AM. “I think he was way off base wading into a local issue without knowing all the facts, as he himself stated before he made that comment.”

The sergeant added: “I guess a friend of mine would support my position, too.”

Officer Crowley deserves an apology…………….

The Racism Wolf

This morning I woke to the Yahoo headline;

Black scholar’s arrest raises profiling questions

However after reading the article I was not angry at the police for their horrible treatment of this man – I was angry at yet another case of crying wolf.

Supporters of a prominent Harvard University black scholar who was arrested at his own home by police responding to a report of a break-in say he is the victim of racial profiling.

There was no racial profiling here.

Cambridge police say they responded to the well-maintained two-story home near campus after a woman reported seeing “two black males with backpacks on the porch,” with one “wedging his shoulder into the door as if he was trying to force entry.”

Mr. Gates own attorney stated that he had forced the front door open because it was jammed. So, it appears that the call that came in was accurate.

By the time police arrived, Gates was already inside. Police say he refused to come outside to speak with an officer, who told him he was investigating a report of a break-in.

“Why, because I’m a black man in America?” Gates said, according to a police report written by Sgt. James Crowley.

Mr. Gates this had nothing to do with you being a black man in America. The police were doing their job and if you were white, black, green or purple they would have wanted you to come outside and prove that you belonged in the house.  Anyone with a security system in their house that has had the alarm go off and the police show up know the drill.

Mr. Gates you are a Director at Harvard so obviously an intelligent man that has worked hard. Why on earth would you make such ridiculous claims? More importantly why would you and the race baiting Al Sharpton want to continue to protray to the young black people that no matter what they do they will never be treated without bias – just give up it’s not worth it. Is this how you choose to be a role model, by crying wolf? By pretending to be a victim you minimize the people that may actually be, it’s disgraceful.

The article makes it sound like every black man in Cambridge is a target, however the author only came up with one incident in 2004. This is a pattern?

Some of Gates’ African-American colleagues say the arrest is part of a pattern of racial profiling in Cambridge.

Allen Counter, who has taught neuroscience at Harvard for 25 years, said he was stopped on campus by two Harvard police officers in 2004 after being mistaken for a robbery suspect. They threatened to arrest him when he could not produce identification.

We all understand that Al Sharpton is in the business of “racism” and of course does not want anyone to believe that they are equal – it would put him out of business. What is your excuse Mr. Gates?

Of couse Al Sharpton will be at Mr. Gates arraignment and once again I ask when will this racial outrage be shown for the 2 black babies that were sexually molested by Frank Lombard? Mr. Sharpton?
