For $174,000 average wages + benefits – you’d think they’d show up for work.

Their job is to vote! If these members of Congress are not available, they should step down or be fired. For those of us that schlep to the polls come rain or shine and don’t get paid (unless you work for ACORN or the Unions of course), it is completely unacceptable for these people to accept checks paid “by the people” that they obviously do not have time or don’t care to represent.  

What would happen to your job if you didn’t show up over 150 times?
